Gary, Do you know how that area got it's name? I have a good highway map of Clinton County that shows Brown's Crossroads. My grandfather, Joseph Edward Brown was born somewhere in Clinton Co., KY in 1869 per his father's Civil War records. Belfield Brown served in the 30th. KY Mounted Infantry Volunteers and moved to Missouri later. Thanks for all the work you do in genealogy. In the Fentress County Tennessee Pictorial History book Vo 1, there are a few pictures of GARRETT families. There is a picture of OLIVER PERRY & REBECCA ANN STORIE GARRETT and 4 of their children. Picture was submitted by AVO GARRETT GARRETT taken about 1908. The oldest GArrett in the book is ALEC GARRETT born 1829-1914. The book was published by the Fentress Co Historical Society. Hello List members, Does anyone have the date of birth for Jacob Samuel Reagan? With the census info I get 3 conflicting dates. 1840 Fentress says he was born 1791-1800. 1850 Fentress says 1808 1860 Overton says 1810/1811. Does anyone have any info regarding his birth date? Also anyone know where he is buried? If I can find his marker, perhaps his stone would say providing the stone is in decent shape. Thanks!
