In the 1850 census, Patrick H Madden and his family is just a few houses away from Daniel Thorn. There are several Thorns just a few houses down also. Patrick H. Madden is found in the 1860 Hickman county, Kentucky Census. John E. his son has married Catherine Thorn daughter of the James Thorn family that lived a couple of houses down the street Dickson County. Then the Maddens and Thorns just disappear.
