April 1844, in Dickson County, TN. , m. 2 Sept 1865 in Montgomery County, TN. to Martha Endora (Dora) Trotter, b. Aug 1845 in Dickson County, TN. They have the following children: James Madison (Jim) Jones (1868-1950) Ellen Lavinia Jones (1871-1949) Ison Harris Jones (1871-1945) Ella Jones (1879-1910) William Kirk Jones (1881-1940) Sidney Jones (1886-1946) John B.
