I'm new to the list--Carole Ann Heller, near Detroit MI. I recently discovered my Illinois roots started out in North Carolina and Tennessee--and I'm thrilled about it! I've vacationed in both states and it would be hard to say which is more beautiful. I am looking for the PARENTS OF JAMES H. STORY, who married Parthena Gunn, my gg grandparents. I'm believe John H. is a descendant of James Story -- either grandson or ggrandson. This entire family came primarily from Chatham Co NC and Maury Co. Tenn.
