Ira Bell is a corner stone to middle Tennessee's genealogy research. I dont know how many lists he is on, but I think he is on Benton, Stewart and Danville Crossing...probably LBL. Nobody carries in their memory more information on Middle Tennessee and Central U.S. railroading history than him. He is ALWAYS a gentleman and a scholar; a sharer of anything he has that will help fellow researchers...or lift a down spirit. Ira's family is being tried sorely right now and they are in great need of our prayers. Imogene his beloved wife appears to have suffered a stroke that may well be catastrophic. Please pray for this family. I have never met a kinder, more loving man and his devotion to his family is exemplary. My heard is so saddened by this news...
