If you can tell me which, if any NESBITTs are related to the HADDENs, I would appreciate hearing. James HADDEN married Sarah NESBUTT probably about 1790, Spartanburg SC, then came to Dickson Co. between 1800 and 1820. They were there for the 1820 and 1830 census. Then on to Marion Co. IL Their son, William Black HADDEN married Fanny NESBITT (said to be his cousin). They too came from Spartanburg, SC to Dickson Co. and on to Marion Co. IL. Apparently both the NESBITT ladies died in Marion Co. by about 1840, but I can find no tombstones or cemetery listings for them. I would also be interested in the names of the parents of these Nesbitts. That most sought after answer for most of us that are addicted to genealogy----"Who were their parents?" well I show on 1820 census that William B. Hadden and Samuel Nesbitt were within 3 households of each other (2 "Crew" families and a "Jackson" family were in between) probably doesn't help much! I've got a question about that 1820 census. does anyone know if it is complete or incomplete.
