My name is Suzanne. I live in Alabama. I've been with this list since before 1998. It is a really special group. It is through this list that I have made contact with four cousins of my HALL and AUSTIN ancestors. Pat of Indiana and I are connected through the HALL line and Ben Hall and I are double connected, meaning that our HALL and AUSTIN ancestors married each other and we are related to each other through both lines. I've found two new and special cousins and friends in them just this year. Faye and Charlotte helped me a lot when I first came in and Mary Carol and I are hunting for Cunningham ancestors. Bob Carney helped me with my Carney line in Davidson County. So you newbies, don't be discouraged, just keep looking and asking and answering roll calls and get on the surname list, it really does work. That's how Pat and I got together. My AUSTIN grandfathers married a RICHARDSON, and a CARR . My HALL s married a CUNNINGHAM in the area. My ancestors lived pretty much in the Burns area as far as I can tell. Everyone on this list is so helpful and kind, it makes me proud my ancestors chose such a fine place as Dickson County to locate themselves.
