Hi Dickson researchers! I am trying to find the parents of my ancestor John C. CARROLL b. 10 Oct 1829. He married Priscillia Jane EVERETT dau of Aquilla EVERETT. I had suspected that John's father was William CARROLL who shows up in 1840 and 1850 in Dickson Co. (and his sons show up in later censuses), but now I'm not sure if there is any connection. Another of Aquilla's daughters married Robert CARROLL, who I suspect is a brother to John. John and Robert both went to Nacogdoches County, Texas. Anyone researching these families? L.C.
