Hi Sandy - looking for the following Deed - "John Jones, Sr. to John Jones, Jr.....land on south bank of Turnbull Creek...made Oct 24, 1812....witnesses:John Stafford and Joshua James." I think this is the deed from my ggggg grandfather to my gggg grandfather. This may answer a question I have been searching for and that is, did John Jones Sr. move from No. Carolina with his family. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Billy Jones ----- Original Message ----- From: Sandra Ellis Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2001 4:11 AM To: TNDICKSO-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TNDICKSO] Wake up! Hi, Billy! I still have your message about the Jones deed. Montgomery County doesn't have a lot of Dickson Co. records but I did look to see if there were any Dickson County deeds that might help you---didn't find any! I looked through several indexes and didn't see your Jones'---but am still looking! I have them on my "research list" that goes everywhere I go! I sure am glad to see there's someone else at their computer! Sandy Ellis
