I hate to hear that Cher has "water problems"---hope nothing got ruined! Lenora, the Trump is one of your lateral lines. His daughter was Clara Alice who married Theodore Baxter Hayes. I'll send you more information as soon as I get it! (I feel lucky---maybe I should start some serious work on Jesse and Sarah!) Just remember what I told you about what my "greats" said---it's close but not accurate! We need to be searching the Wheeling, W VA area but I'm not sure who we should be looking for! The "greats" said that James Washington Hayes and Mary Bartee were both born in Wheeling, W VA---we know Mary Bartee was born in Dickson Co. I would almost guarantee that Wheeling, W VA is another "clue"! I hope my luck encourages everyone else to not give up! I've "played" with the Trump name for so many years but never really gave it much time or thought. The photo of that "cute kid" (who happens to be my ggg-grandfather) seemed to haunt me enough I decided to try to find out more about who he was. Clara Alice (his daughter and my gg-grandmother) was born in 1859 and her brother Michael was born in 1861. The application for the widow's pension was filed in 1862.
