According to The Cunningham Family by Bertie Gingles,John Cunningham was the first child of William and Nancy Carr Cunningham, and John was born in Albemarle County, VA in 1796, and married Mary Polly Gresham 2/19/1822 in Trigg County. Mary(Polly) was born 2/9/1803. (Nancy Carr was the daughter of Gideon Carr and Ann Hamner, but there's no record in the Cunningham book of Nancy's birthday. Nancy was also referred to as Elizabeth.)
