    2. My husband and I went to the genealogical library in mesa, AZ, and they have a book, "Reminiscences of Dickson County", or something like that. Typically, I didn't write it down-sorry! It has letters to the newspaper, of Dickson County natives who were born around 1850-1860, and were still living in the early nineteen hundreds. Faye, Molly, or Cher, might have the book, but just in case, I copied some of the pages, and if anyone is interested, I'll mail them a copy of what I found. I copied a letter by Silas Oliphant, born 30 June, 1859,son of Presley Ward Oliphant and Mary Fitzhugh. Another one is the letter of Molly Jones Underhill, daughter of Charlie and Plina Bouldin Jones. She was born June 5, 1857. Another is Peter Monroe Carver, son of Cornelius Carver, and Georgia Ann Anderson. Peter was born Jan. 6, 1855. I do have a bad copy of the letter by Laura Street Taylor, daughter of A.B. and Mary Street. She was born Dec. 20, 1858, on Yellow Creek, near Ruskin. I'll try to get a better copy next time, if anyone is interested in her. There aren't a lot of these, but I'll make some differnet copies next time, if anyone is interested. I'm afraid I didn't have time to note all of the surnames in these letters. Sorry for any disappointment. Karen Alexander

    2. Sandra Ellis
    3. Tonya (BLOOMINIDIOT2@cs.com) hasn't been feeling 'up to snuff' lately and will be undergoing some medical tests during the next few weeks. (I don't know all the details but as a precaution, these tests will be done in a critical care unit in a Nashville hospital.) Please remember her in your thoughts and prayers. Sandy Ellis

    3. Hi Karen, If you should go back I'd appreciate any Rook, Peebles, or Isham Trotter, Jr., or Whitehead info. I would also like to know the name of the book, the publisher, and any address where we might could write for info on the book if you think of it. Thank you so much for caring to share this info and for bringing it home to us!
