Sandy - I have a copy of a deed dated 9 Dec 1850 where Jane James Jones (wife of John Jones Jr. deceased 11 Nov 1832) sold her land on Turnbull Creek in Dickson Co. to William Jones (I think her son). The deed I was referring to this morning would be where John Jones Sr. had transferred land to his son John Jones Jr. on Oct 24, 1812. Does this help? Billy, I'll keep a copy of this message in my notebook and will be on the look-out for any of these names. I don't plan a trip to the library this week but my plans change. I know I have to work tomorrow and Friday---even if I don't want to! I have an auditor coming in sometime tomorrow---shouldn't take long but boss-man wants me there. (It isn't a big deal because it's an insurance audit but boss-man still doesn't know what to expect!) Friday is payroll day and if I don't show up, I'd have some upset people.
