Don't know if this will be new to you, but I found this in TN Tidbits, 1778-1914, Vol. I, compiled by Marjorie Hood Fisher: p. 129: Fox, George, was an orphan child at the November term, 1807, when was bound to James Gilmore. (Blo, TN, Co Ct. Min, B/391) At the August term 1808, an indenture binding him to Samuel Lane was made null and void (Ibid C/88) He was bound to Robert Wilson (Ibid 278) p. 144 Gilmore-1 July 1822, George Davidson mad oath that Matthew Gilmore, William Gilmor, John Gilmore, James Gilmore, James McCrory and his wife, Jan, George Davidson and his wife Elizabeth, Abr. (?) Scott, Alex Scott and his wife Mary are the legal heirs of Margaret Conn of the State of Delaware (Dic TN, Co Ct. Min, 2/no #) [the ? appears in the notation, not added by me] Gilmore, Charles, d. before 12 Oct. 1794 when the widow, Mary Gilmore and Lansford Long, guardians of Charles Gilmore, infoant of the deceased, made a dee to Henry Hide (Dav TN, Co Ct. Min, B/282) Gilmore, Josephu, d. before August 1842 when Nathaniel was appointed administrator ( Hum TN, Co Ct. Min, no #/35) p. 145: Glass, Sumel, was an orphan when he made choice of James Gilmore as his guardian at the August term 1806 (Blo TN, Co Ct Min, B/236) p. 347: Smith, Charles, was bound 14 Dec. 1797 to Mathew Wallace until age 21 to teach him the shoemakers trade. Charles was 5 years old last August (Blo TN, Co Ct Min, 1/35) August term 1802, he was released from indenture and on the same day was bound to John Gilmore (Ibid A/346-7) >From my own notes: Willie Powell Sensing b, 28 Feb 1841 [source not noted, drats!] d. 7 Jan 1930, souce Rootsweb World Connect Project. Powell, at family # 675 Lucy Brown Gilmore, b. 1 Jan 1841, this date submitted to the Rootsweb World Connect Project Found W.P. Sensing and wife Lucy on 1880 and 1900 Di Co TN Census. Found death certificate for L.M. Sensing, b. 20 Dec 1862, Vanleer TN, d. 14 Apr 1922, Di Co TN, father was W.P. Sensing, b. TN, mother Lucy Gilmore, b. Vanleer TN, informant was H.G. Sensing, Dickson TN Found rec. of obit in Di Co TN Cem. rec. Vol., 2, p. 165, from newspaper of 28 May 1937 for Miss Ara Sensing, 69, b. 6 Nov 1871, d. Friday in Clarksville; also for W. E. Sensing, 65, d. 4 Mar 1937 a son of W.P Sensing of Vanleer Found Manoa Taylor and wife Nancy C. on 1880 Di Co TN with adopted child A.S. Hasley, age 7. For Robert Matthew Gillmore who m. Lettitia Taylor, sister of Manoa Taylor, I have a death date of 1917, source Primal Families of the Yellow Creek Valley. You have probably already looked for his death certificate to confirm his parents as James Madison Gilmore, and Elizabeth Balthrop [I believe you (gildent@msn.com) sent me info on this couple].
