Felix Alexander, born 14 May 1826; died 9 July 1827 The following text is from Robert Corlew's "History of Dickson County": Professor Ebenezer Erskine Larkins, who devoted nearly a half century to teaching in public and private institutions of Middle Tennessee, was one of the best known of the early faculty members of Tracy Adademy in Charlotte. Born and reared in what is now Houston County (Dickson Co. then), Larkins came as a young man during the 1830's to take charge of Tracy, and for the most of the next half century served either as teacher or principal. It's tragic to me that a person so well-respected and influential lies in an unknown grave in the Town Cemetery in Charlotte. Public records show that as his place of burial, but anyone who knew the spot has long since died. Charlotte
