Rettig is my married name and my husband is the only son of his father, Harry. Harry and bro. are the only children to their parents who came here from Germany. That's as far back as I've gotten, my father inlaw is one of those "amazing" people who knew his grandparents only as "Oma and Ompa"! So though he is living he is of little help.
