    3. Dear Sandy.... I saw your posting below regarding HAMBRICKs in Dickson Co. Who are the parents of your Angeline HAMBRICK? My 2-great-grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" HAMBRICK from Dickson Co. Her father was James C. HAMBRICK. I do have some information on the HAMBRICKs though not a great deal and am certainly glad to share what I have with other researchers. Let me know and have a grand week! 3. Hi Linda-- I haven't done any research on Solomon or his family. Lenora and I descend from James W. but we know Solomon was his brother. The 1850 census shows their mother Catherine living with Solomon and Angeline. It also shows their 2-month-old son James W. (I also found a marriage record that shows Solomon and "Angaline" were married 9 June 1850.) The census I'm looking at is too dark to read Angeline's age when the census was taken. Since Lenora and I haven't had any luck researching James W., I thought I'd see if I could find anything on Solomon that might lead us to their father. Maybe Lenora knows who Angeline's parents are. She has been working on this line longer than I have. I'd be willing to claim your James C. or his brother (if he has one)---but I think I'd better try to document her parents! Lenora and I are at a complete standstill with this family and our brick wall is in Dickson County! With the Hays/Hayes line, we haven't been able to get past James W., Solomon, and Catherine or the 1850 census. We know James W. married Mary Bartee, daughter of Jesse and Sarah Harkleroad Bartee. Jesse and Sarah were also in Dickson Co but we can't find them before they came to the area! (Goodspeed says Sarah is the daughter of Henry Harkleroad but we can't find any proof of that, either!)
