Thanks Sandy.. I wrote Obed as thats the way the book wrote it.. Mitchells Creek must have been important in its day as it was frequently mentioned , as a measurement of lands surrounding it The MItchell names are still carried down to this day!. If I could finally get info on their pppparents etc I might have an open door to the rest and connection all. Interesting to note that Norris was for two women. I have searched for years for Norris in the Dickson area and none were to be found by me or anyone alse for that matter. It would be a big help to those searching for Norris who have written over the years. Where is this Mitchell Creek in comparison to where Dickson lives in actual traveling distance I mean.
