My Davidson Line John DAVIDSON b. abt 1777 m. Violet (GARNER) and had, among others,Benjamin DAVIDSON b. 1792 m.1 Polly (LYLE) and m.2 Hulda (CLARK), son, William DAVIDSON b. 1818 m.1 Luanna (POTTER) in Feb 1841 and m.2 Malinda (WALLACE) William Hartwell or "Billy" DAVIDSON b. 1847, Montgomery Co., TN is believed to be #5 of 9 children; he m. Laura Ann (FERRELL or FARRELL) and had among others, Cordie DAVIDSON b. 1888 in Dickson Co. TN m. Nettie Ann (MEEK) b. 1894. Their son William Herbert DAVIDSON b. 1910 in Dickson Co. TN d. 1997 in MI m. Eunice "Aileen" (JONES) and moved to MI 1940-1950. Their son (my father) William Thomas DAVIDSON m.1 Hilda Jeanine (WHITE), m2 Luann (SPURBECK). I 've just begun work on this line and have already come in contact with many "new" relatives. (Even met and phoned some!) As my parents divorced when I was young, I never even knew about my dad's side of the family. I'm glad to know I have cousins all over, and even G-Aunts and Uncles still living in the Dickson area and plan to visit/meet soon. Many of the DAVIDSON's I am researching are actually in Montgomery and surrounding Counties, I assume due to boundry changes/County formation over the years, as well as the "physical" moving of families.
