(My step-mom was baptised where the Obey runs into the Cumberland--she grew up in Celina, TN.) Check the Overton Co., TN website. Reba Bilbrey is the (Overton) county archivist and is active on the list---and very nice lady! This is the area I was researching last year when I was looking for my step-mom's orphaned mother's family. I'm also fairly familiar with the area---actually wanted to go there this weekend but with a "sick" mother-in-law, didn't make it. Mitchell Creek now runs into Dale Hollow Lake---the area mentioned in you book is now covered by water. Sandy
