I don't have access to the 1820 census either. There is a Norris Lake and Norris Dam in East Tennessee. I wonder if that could be any connection to your Norris line??? I haven't actually been there, maybe someone else out there might have info. on that? Thanks for the info. I have also come across that but thank you for sending it to me anyway! That is interesting that there were no men with your Norris ladies, at that time I don't think that women travelled much on their own so I wonder if perhaps the Norris men passed away and the ladies stayed at the same place, or moved to be with family??
