Hi! It is Cher~ I am in Phoenix Az. with Karen A.... this trip is WONDERFUL! She is the cutest sweetest thing...I dont see how she can go outside without the bees covering her!<VBG> It is a beautiful day...cooler than it has been... I like Phoenix better than Yuma... Yuma is .... hummmmm... Yuma....is..... sand....and more sand....heat and more heat... the sun is everpresent..and overbearing....we did get a respite when we had a sand storm...I watched the sand blow horizontally all day and wondered about the people that settled the area.... the struggles and effort to stay alive.. let alone thrive. My family stopped in Tennessee... it was lush, water was plentiful... even then by comparison I think they had it 'soft''...hummmm just musing! This trip has been a wonderful adventure... I am nearing the last leg of it and will be in Louisville...about the 19th of Oct..I think..I hope Lonna Jean will be coming to Louisville soon after that and we will take a three week trip thru Tenn, Ky and Mo..up to Kansas...this will be a genealogy treck... and a real blast... I see that Mollie is perking along and doing a super job...I knew she would...! She is my .My "Mean Little Assistant" is great! I am so grateful for her and her devotion to the list and ME!!! We have some wonderful people here.... look around you ..you are the life of the list.. I am so proud of you all!.. Now, you continue to help each other and do lookups.... and post your BIG OL THICK WALLS so the newbees can see if they have that name in their files.... I am like Santa Clause....
