Thanks for the Norris info.. I know that William W. Mitchell and Arabella were on tax list in Humphries county in 1838-40 list.. they had several children there and next appear in 1850 in Dickson. It appears that they lived in almost the same area all their lives until William died in Civil War Prisons in Illinois in 1863.. Now that we know there were Norris,, despite repeatedly being told there were none!.. so Arabella must be found somwhere with one of these families....Perhaps in a will of one of these persons?? Much to do.. Now to find the sources that I can search for these/ Thanks you so much Lenora
