Okay Cindy.. one last thought...we have been trying to trace grandmother Catherine Hays seen for a short time in Dickson with the family. But after that she does not appear again.. And we were told that Catherine was originally from Pennsylvania though we have never had proof of this. passed down information only. Another Ah ha to look into! Lenora

Lenora, The 1850 Dickson census shows Catherine living with Solomon---between J.W. Hays and Mary Bartee. This census shows Solomon and J.W. as being born in KY and Catherine as being born in New Jersey. Sandy Ellis
