Hi- I am looking for any info on Aaron Laws. He lived in Dickson Co, TN. Died in the War of 1812 on 2-2-1815. He was in Sgt Cuthbert Hudson's company of the TN Volunteer Militia. Married to Pheraby Laws and had children named William, Mary (Peggy), Sarah, John, Clemency, and Aaron Jr. I don't know where he was from other than NC (found on census). I have reason to believe his father's name was John Laws. John fought in the Revolutionary War & his heirs, William, Aaron, and John received a bounty land grant for John Sr.'s services in Tennessee Co. (which is now partly Dickson county.)
