First there was Henry Gunn of Houston County TN. He was borb June 14, 1826 and died Sept. 10, 1902. He married Betsy Ann Nesbitt born Oct. 29, 1828, died May 19, 1903. They lived about half mile below Warden's store. They had no children and are buried in Adams-Nesbitt Cemetery. The other reference shows James and Willim Gunn serving in Dickson County Militia, 25th Regiment, Light Infantry in 1810. James was a Lt. and William an Ensign.
