The only place that I know of is at the court house. When I went there to try and look up our property that we live on and my husband's family farm, I went to the deeds office. I looked up the last people that I knew that owned the place in the deed book. That deed told me the name of the people they bought it from and the book and page of deeds that the person before them was recorded on when they bought it. I just kept going back like that. On my own place I am currently stuck at 1870 when there was an auction. Good luck in your search! If your grandparents are no longer living on the place you might throw the street and approx. location out there and maybe someone on the web.page will have info. on it. Have a great night!
