Cathy.. the Sarah McAdoo was on the bottom of the Deed of sale for my grt. grandmother to property to her son.. William Robert Mitchell. The name William McAdoo appeared on a Pension letter of my grandfather ,,listed above.. brothers Pettition for Pension after the Civil War. in Henry county.. where a hand written letter staed that Mr. McAdoo had lived next to the Mitchell famillly along Yellow Creek Road for years... It onlly caught my attention becasue of the Sarah McAdoo listed on the property sale at the bottom of the letter next to Arabella Mitchell, my grandmother.. so I though if it was land held together they must be related...??...two different perioooods of time adn two different documents but same name in common, McAdoo on both.
