    2. Hi All - Was reading your poison ivy stories. Seems one branch of my family tree is immune to it !!!! I was asked if I was immune also, -- well, I don't know because I have never been around it --- and I'm not going to find any just to find out ! haha My TN surnames; Reeves, Whitehorn, Rodgers, Hargrove,.     3. Funny, but poison ivy and the antidote tend to grow together. An old Indian remedy for poison ivy that works is the stalk of the poke weed, or poke sallet as it were. Split the stalk, and rub it on the affected area and it dries it up almost over night. Try it next time you get into poison ivy!
