There was an article in our local paper about avoiding ticks and it said to spray your clothes with repellant NOT YOUR SKIN! And if possible tuck your pant legs into your shoes to keep ticks from crawling up your legs. If your coming in late October it should be cool enough that if the ticks are still out you could wear sweat pants with elastic in the legs. Karen
