Hi Folks, Is there anyone on the list who might be a descendant of this John Griffith? In June, 1826 he purchased, from the estate sale of Susannah Rook, 72 ac. of land with ½ ac reserved for a grave yard in Montgomery Co. I am trying to find out where this land was located, thus finding the cemetery where I believe John and Susannah Rook are buried. Does anyone have a clue? I have sent this to the Montgomery list also. If you are a member of another list close to Montgomery, please feel free to pass it along to your list.
