Mollie, Our family recently went through the same thing. Cattle being run through an old and possibly historical family cemetery. If you go to the following website, you can download and/or print the Tennessee Cemetery and Burial Site Laws. It gives you all your rights and options concerning family plots on other folks' property. http://web.utk.edu/~kizzer/genchist/research/cemetery.htm. If you are unsuccessful in getting to this site, send me a private e-mail and I will send you a copy of mine.
