Here's the latest update from Cher---gosh I miss her but it sounds like she's having fun! Sandy Ellis > we are in N Dakota...and have had enough prairie....and dust and heat! i want to click my ruby slippers and say there is no place like home! we have had a good day until this evening when the heat engulfed us...we left lemmon s.dk about 6 am to try and catch some wildlife...we did!! saw lots of grouse...several male pheasants,buffalo,hawks,doves,meadowlarks,deer,and antalope--they were not playing!!we are getting up early tuesday to try it again.. > > we came up the enchanted highway...and saw some fun tourist stuff...the local folks created giant sculptures along a highway....a 4 story man woman and boy,a giant pheasant family, also giant grasshopper ..and more...i love doing this...i just think we picked the wrong time of year....everyone says spring...late may-june is the best time...we are considering going to glacier nat pk..but need to hear about the fires....we are going to ystone....this heat makes us keep moving....the best weatker has been in the blackhills... > > we are enjoying it all....and keep looking around the bend.... > > wish i was rich!! i would do this full time! just choose directions in conjunction with the temp better.....i dread arizona.... > > friends and family ...we ae fine...healthy...safe...and the equipment is running good!!! keep us in your prayers.. > > > love > cher. >
