Mollie, How would I find out about a family cemetery in Cumberland Furnace? I am wondering whether there are any stones still visible or any sign there was a cemetery there at all. Thanks, Debbie

It says it is in Charlotte, but the land owned by Scarborough Pentecost was in Cumberland Furnace. So it is somewhere in there. It is the Pentecost Cemetery. The Dickson County Cemetery books say it is located about 3 miles out of Cumberland furnace off of Bell Hollow Road, In Swweet home Area, terribly overgrown , many blackberry bushes.. there are 6 pentecost listed and 1 Corlew.. It may be several weeks before I get back to Dickson but I will put your email in my 'keepers" box so that I will have it to check...
