Bonnie, I did a little looking on the 1860 census. I found the following. L Bruce 62 SC S(?) 54 Ten Ellen 30 Ten Dennis 24 Ten Martha(?) 17 Ten Lemuel 15 Ten T 7 Ten Sarah(?) 90 SC 305/305 Anderson Bruce 29 Tenn Alvada 33 Tenn Anustera(?) 13 Margaret 7 Louisa 5 Lemuel J 3 Sandra(?) S 1 Margaret McGlo... 60 SC I left question marks or dots because it was too hard to read on the original. The 2 Lemuels on these censuses were both born in Tenn. On the original, it is difficult to read. Perhaps a transcriber might put SC or NC by mistake, but I am sure it is Tenn. Hopes this helps.
