I recently purchased a book "Return: The Parker Story" by Jack Selden in Palestine, TX. He has been a great help. Richmond's first wife, Zerelda Anglin, was my husband's 3rd gr grandmother. She married two other men, Stephen Bennett and then John VanDyke Gossett. I knew that Richmond died in a hunting accident, but it wasn't until last week whenever someone responded to my request on the FindAGrave site with a picture of her grave with all three husbands listed did I discover that he was killed by indians. They had 2 girls, Mary Ann and Martha. Martha has been a mystery until Jack gave me her line. Her husband, Wm Eldridge Parker was a son of Isaac Parker. I do not know where Richmond is buried, nor any of the other 2 husbands????? Mary Ann married George Washington Parks (my husbands line). She is buried in Snyder, TX., but we do not know about George. He is supposed to be in Anderson or Crockett, TX, but I haven't located him, yet. Their markers may no longer be around, too. I do not know anything about Hugh. I do show on a Maryland Will Index a Nathaniel Dixon, Sr. with chldren: Ambrose P., William, Samuel, Hugh, Mary. Is this your Hugh? All three of Zerelda's husbands were together and instrumental in the creation of the The Republic of Texas. I have unfortunately let too many people die before I discovered much of their information.
