I checked my book , "Index to Tenn. Wills & Administrations, 1779-1861" and there are a number of McFarland and McFarlin names listed, but none of these are in Dickson Co. Other spellings are McFarlane, McFarlen, McFarling There is one listing for Montgomery Co. MCFARLAND, JAMES, 1797, Record Book B, page 70. This would have been before Dickson Co. was formed in 1804. A copy of this will could be requested from the Montgomery Co. Archives or the Tenn. State Library & Archives. Deanna
