Mike is right, today is truly a day to remember our armed forces, both past and present. I salute all the men and women who have given so much to our country. I also would like to honor my dad, PFC George D. Roney, who was wounded and received a Purple Heart in the Battle of Saipan. He went through so much but was proud of what he did for his country.
