Hi List: I have been on this list for a couple of months and have thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's messages, whether they relate to me or not(most don't), but you never know where the next lead will come from. My Dickson roots are my grandmother's family. I don;t know too much about them but have found bits and pieces. They were:Alexander V. HENDRICK, first wife Maggie BELL, 2nd wife(My GGM) Agnes MAYES. Agnes died about 1890, Alex died 1893. Sometime after that the children ended up in Hickman Co, KY. Agnes parents: George Mayes and Livinia DAVIS. Their other daughters Sally, married a Cartwright and lived around Union City, TN, and Nina, married James Philip Claud.Nina and James also went to Hickman CO.,KY.
