Good Morning Ira-- There is a terrific mailing list for CA that can probably help you out--actually two. Go to rootsweb.com and click on the blue "mailing lists" tab at the top of the home page and then click on to CA and join both SOCAL and CADI. (Pasadena is in Los Angeles Co, CA--southern CA) They both have wonderful volunteers who look up records for you--marriages, births, deaths, and do transcriptions. I am on NORCAL and CADI (as opposed to your southern ca.) Also the CA death and birth indexes are on line--rootsweb, data base index (left side on home page, near the top), CA--birth, death. You might try checking your people out first--they ask on both mailing lists you do that anyway. Happy Hunting! Pat
