    3. Janna - Not familiar with Goodspeed's History of Dickson Co. Tn. If you have the book would you check for anything on John Jones B 30 June 1784 D 11 Nov 1832 in Dickson Co. Tn. He had property that adjoined Turnbull Creek, willed it to his wife Jane (James) Jones who sold the property to her son William Jones (B 25 Dec 1819) on 9 Dec 1850. Would appreciate any info you should happen to find on John Jones or William Jones. TN, the census taken in June, his b'day being in July when he would've turned 18. So that means he was b. in 1832, and the month and day are from "Bible Records of TN" Bible of Edmond Tidwell, Jr. This is what Goodspeed's History of Dickson Co. TN has to say about Edmond Mansell Tidwell's death. "Edmond Tidwell, son of Malachi Tidwell and brother to Annie Tidwell Richardson, enlisted on Dec. 12, 1862 as a Private in Co. K. of the 11th TN Infantry. He was a teamster and died during the war on March 16, 1863 in Cheatham's Division Hospital according to muster rolls." "Co. K originally called Co. H and Co. E along with 8 other Cos. were sent to Camp of Instruction at Camp Cheatham in Robertson Co. TN where they were organized into a regiment June 1, 1861." So that makes me think that Cheatham's Division Hospital was in Robertson Co. not Cheatham Co. as I first thought. Do you know what the Matthew L. Gentry's middle name was? 3. Billy, This is Mollie again.. I forgot that I have a copy of Dickson County, Tenessee Handbook.. I found alot of entries for John Jones.. I am not sure if any of them are yours but ... One is a John R Jones who married Rebecca Russell 19, Feb 1838.... A John Jones to Eliza Whatley Licensed issued 29, June, 1846.. A will for Rueben Jones Wife Esther , five children John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Nancy, Sealum and the child his wife was pregnant with.. Signed 24, Jan 1815 This next one I am almost positive may be yours.. John Jones Will - page 96 NO. 55.. Gives to Thomas Jefferson Jones, John Jones Jr., William Jones, James Madison Jones .... wife Jane Signed 23 April 1832... William Dickson of Davidson Co. sold to John Jones property on Yallow Creek May 22, 1804.. John Jones of Montgomery Co sells to George Teal Sr. 25, Oct. 1805.. Then a reference to someone selling a negro girl.. John Jones is a witness and I think one of the people selling as well... Then a piece of property was sold that was connected to John Jones property.. Then Captain Cuthbert Hudson's Company.. There was a John Jones that was a private.. Then a listing for miscellaneous soldiers for the war of 1812... A John Jones was listed... Don't know if any of this will hope but I hope it does....
