Thanks for the reminder! I try to always make it. It's a nice meal, a fun time and a good cause (fund raiser for keeping the cemetery up). There's other families buried there beside's the Waynicks. Some of the other's are : Bailey, Potts, Bradford, Daniel, Fleet, MOtes, Wilson,McCoy, Boaz, Smith, Schmittou, Bledsoe, Underwood, Norfleet,Neblett, Street (alot of them buried there), Mathis,Hudson. If you are thinking about coming take highway 49 West (going from Charlotte towards Erin) go through Vanleer. Turn right onto Slaydenwood Road. Stay on this when the road forks keep going straight, don't take the right fork. The cemetery will be on your right up on a hill. There is a sign you can see from the road with Waynick Cemetery on it.
