Captain Daniel Hicks Williams, born Duplin Co., NC Jan. 5, 1751, died in 1831 in Dickson Co. He married Sarah Nixon March 3, 1783. About 1810 they moved to Dickson Co. They had 12 children: I. Daniel Hicks Williams, Jr. He married Catherine Spicer and had 11 children. II. Joseph Williams. He married Sara Killebrew and they had 8 children. III. Thomas H. Williams, born c1787 in Sampson Co. NC, died in 1845 in Fayette Co. TN. He married Elizabeth Moulton who died c1836 after the birth of Susannah E. Williams. They had 11 of his 18 children. In 1839 he married Martha Ann Yarborough in Fayette Co.,who after his death in 1845 married Isaac N. Sawyers. Issue By Elizabeth: A. John P. Williams. B. Christian Nixon Williams. C. Ann Mariah Williams. D. Abraham Moulton Williams. E. Sarah Jane Williams. F. Richard Nixon Williams, born c1819 in Dickson Co. married Eliza H. Sauls in 1848 in Fatette Co. TN. They moved to Hunt Co., TX where they died. G. Mary Ann Williams. H. Tennessee Ann Williams. I. Joseph R. Williams. J. Susannah E. Williams. IV. Christian Williams V. Richard Nixon Williams, born c1790 in Sampson County, NC died after 1835 in Dickson Co. TN. He never married and was in War of 1812. VI. Mary Williams. She married Edwin Killebrew in 1814. Hewas a brother to Sara Killebrew who married Joseph Williams. VII. Jeanetta Williams. VIII. Cassandra Williams, born May 19, 1799 near Wilmington, NC, died Nov. 11, 1836 in Dickson Co. She married John Wills Napier. IX. Susannah Williams, born March 19, 1801 in Sampson Co. NC 1st married Elias W. Napier of Dickson Co. whom she divorced in 1820.
