I am new to the list and am located in Hickman County, about 4 miles south of the DIckson County line. My Hudson work is at http://pages.prodigy.net/vanhudson/hudson1.htm My Yates work is at http://pages.prodigy.net/vanhudson/yates1.htm I am a Hudson and my grandmother was a Yates. In my on-line database I have records of neary 9000 Yates/Hudson family kin. This means most of Dickson County can be found here. My database is at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hudsonyatess/Index.html All I have is at my database. Well most of it anyway. Alot more information has been sent to me and I have yet to update my files. Van Hudson

Nellie "Dimple" HARRINGTON-BROWN was born 2JUL1920 in Bon Aqua, Hickman, Tennessee, the daugher of Lawrence Harbert HARRINGTON and Mollie BAKER. She is a descendent of Drury HARRINGTON and Mary MATTOX (MATTOCKS). As many friends, cousins, and fellow genealogists from around the world were asked to pray for her at precisely 10:00 A.M. Pacific Time, today, she passed from this life to the next, ready for her reward. Nellie "Dimple" died at 10:10 A.M. today in Bakersfield, Kern, CA. Services are pending at Erickson & Brown Funeral Home in Taft, Kern, CA. I want to personally thank all of you for lifting up mama in your prayers and thoughts today. Her homegoing was speedy and painless. She also thanked all of you, as I told her of this chain of support. Again, THANKS for being my friend and ministering to my family at this time. The memorial service will be at the Taft Church of Christ in Taft, California. Sincerely, Cuzzin' Mike in CA. I am asking God for his best for mama, and I am asking all of you (y'all) for continued prayers and support. I will be going to the hospital in a few minutes, and I ask for special prayer at exactly 10:00 A.M. , Pacific Time. Thanks for your understanding and partnership in her time of need. For those researching Gilmore, Lewis, Tidwell, Adams, etc. there is a website you have probably already seen but I just found. It is dctn.com. It has a small amount of info but also shares resources. I did see Mathew , William and another Gilmore listed. Also some Lewises Tidwells and Martins. Sharon

Hi "It's just me" Susy, Thanks so much for your response and help. I look forward to hearing from you again. Lynne <<Hi Lynne - It's just me, Susy, and I have not been able to find anything else about Anderson White that you do not already know. However, I have a cousin who is very active in the Humphreys County Historical Society and she not only descends directly from the Turners but her maiden name was White. She is not on the computer but I will write her a letter and see if she knows anything about Anderson White. I will keep you posted. Best wishes, Susy Johnson>>
From my grandmothers sister...who is of course dead now. I have not worked on this line at all and just follow the trail as it leads. Joe Matlock >>> glenho@bellsouth.net 06/05/01 02:00PM >>> Joe, where did you find the marriage info on Anderson England and Martha Reeves? I haven't found this and would like to verify.
