Brenda, do you have any other information on Mary A. Adcock? Did she marry? Do you know of any brothers or sisters? I have several Marys in my database, but this one does not seem to fit. Charlotte
Karen, if you go HWY 49 to Charlotte, Jackson Chapel will be on your RIGHT, not on the left.

I have both.....FTW and Sierra Generations. Both have there good features and I use FTW ver 8. I have used FTW since VER 2.0. I like Sierra also but it does not have some of the more better features like when importng from FTW it will not import pictures into sierra only the files. WandaT.

Esther- I did not find Samuel Dorcey in the lists for National Cemetery. I did, however find info for a Samuel Grover Dorcey that has an obit in the Nashville Tennesseean on 29 August 1975. Is this the right person? Let me know and the next time I go to the main library or State Archives I will get a microfilm copy. Hope we hit it right!! Following is a website that analyzes and rates 20 different titles in genalogy software. Personally, I use the Personal Ancestral File (PAF 4.0) from the LDS for two reasons, first because it is sooooo user friendly and second we have a computer users group that meets once a month at the LDS center here in town and I have lots of people to ask questions of. It seems among the users group Master Genealogist and Family Tree Maker and PAF are the top three among our users. I started with Ultimate Family Tree and as a beginner it was too hard for me and I just never went back to it. Hope this website helps you with your decision http://www.cadvision.com/mumford/reportcard/rcardfrm.htm Suzanne in Alabama
Take 49W toward Charlotte. When you get to the Dickson Co. line go 5 miles and Jackson Chapel will be on your left. Can't miss it. Janet S.
Could someone give me directions on how to get to the Jackson Chapel Church from Ashland City? I've found out a lot of my people are buried there, specifically the JACKSONS. Karen
I think it's time I upgraded my genealogy software. I wanted to get some opinions about two of the leading contenders. Right now I use Sierra Generations and I'm pretty happy with it. I could wish for a few changes, which might have been fixed in the newest version. I've also been looking at Family Tree (or whatever it's exact name is). It's more expensive. To read the boxes of each, you'd be lead to believe that each is the absolute best. Any thoughts? Thanks, Michelle
Betty - I have been searching for the cemetery that my gggg grandfather John Jones is buried in. He was born 30 June 1784 died 11 Nov 1832 in Dickson Co. Tn. Saw that you have a book on the Old Cemetery so would you give a look. So far have had no luck.
