Hey Sandy I am still here but have been wondering the same......maybe we're all alone......what do you think? Tonja
Well, I'm glad to know I'm not alone! I hadn't gotten any messages from this list since the 22nd and that's so unusual. Have fun in the cemetaries, Mollie! Anyone lost any Ellises? I'm trying to connect with all of the ones in this area. Sandy Ellis

Is anyone out there. I have seen anything from the Dickson list for 5 or 6 days now. Debby
I haven't received anything from this list in a while and wondered if anyone was still around! Sandy Ellis
Seeking any information I can find on the Daniel Underhill family. My ggg grandfather Thomas Jefferson Jones married Minerva Underhill July 24, 1833 in Dickson Co. Tn. Minerva was born Feb 1816 in Dickson Co. She moved to Graves Co. Ky. in March 1850 with her husband and family. Minerva passed away 28 May 1862 and is buried in the Jones Family Cemetery in Graves Co. Ky. Thomas and Jane had 10 Children: Eliza, Joshua, William, Felix ( my gg grandfather) Nancy Ann, Martha, Missouri, Sylvester, Narcissus, and Calidona Inez. If anyone can relate to any of the above, please contact me. Help will be appreciated. and as if I couldn't be more confusing - It was Daniel parnell who was married to Sarah Barnhill, then Minerva Galloway and then Indiana Galloway. William Ryan was married to Elizabeth Galloway (another sister) and then if I'm correct - Sarah Parnell, Daniel Parnell and Sarah Barnhill's oldest daughter! --- Cathy Wilheim <cwilheim@hotmail.com> wrote: > > > Hi, Michael, > > I find your use of "remarried" confusing. Hi Folks, Would any and all descendants of Thomas H. Batson contact me off-line? I have a question I need to ask and I would appreciate hearing from someone---anyone! Thanks, Jean Hancock in TX
Hi Folks, Is there anyone listening who might have a copy of a "booklet"?? entitled "The Cooksey Family History" Rook & Good Branch by Lindon Tubb Cooksey? I only have pp. 13, 14, 15---and, of course, cannot remember where I got those pages as I did not write it down at the time. I also have one page entitled "Article 7" which lists the early settlers of Clarksville. The copy I have is not a good copy and there were some handwritten notes on the pages which I cannot read. I would love to have a complete copy if anyone knows of such a thing. If so, please write me and let me know. Thanks, Jean Hancock in TX
Hi, Michael, I find your use of "remarried" confusing. Or do you mean that William Ryan married: . (1) Sally Barnhart, marriage ended in divorce . (2) Minerva Galloway, marriage ended with her death . (3) Indiana Galloway, marriage ended with his death? Does anyone research the surname Ryan? I have a William Ryan who married Elizabeth Galloway in 1847 Dickson Co. They can be found in Rutherford Co on the 1850 census, both 22 and born in TN (no children). I have then found a William Ryan who married a Sarah E. Parnell in 1855 (Dickson Co). I think I have found the correct William Ryan in 1860 Williamson Co (age 31 married to S.E.) The age for him works & the initials for her work. Based on her age (23), I suspect that she is the oldest daughter of Daniel E. Parnell who 1st married Sally Barnhart in the 1830's (Dickson Co) then divorced her in Jun 1840 and remarried Minerva Galloway in Jul 1840. On the 1840 census Daniel has only 1 child a girl, under 5, making the birth year bracket the same as this Sarah Parnell who married Wm. Ryan. It's funny how the families intermixed back then. Daniel remarried Minerva's sister Indiana Galloway in 1852. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo! --0-1118425481-998489677=:39949 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline hi everyone! I have a question, but allow me to set it up! On the 1830 and 1840 Dickson Co census, my John Galloway had a lady living with him born between 1760 - 1770, I think it is his mom. I don;t know her name nor can I find a grave listing for a very old Galloway having died after 1840 but before 1850. Question; Is Revolutionary War pension files on microfilm? If so, is it possible to go thru and look at all Galloways who recieved a Pension & where they were when they were recieving it? In other words, is it possible I could find female Galloway collecting x$ in Dickson county? I have searched the NARA website and can;t really get the definite answer! thanks michaelb __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
