    3. Carlie--- It depends on "which" Hays brothers! I'd be happy to have a look-up for the marriage dates. If they aren't "my" Hays brothers, they might fit into the line somewhere. "My" Theodore Hayes married Clara Trump (my gg-grandparents) in 1896 but most of my relatives say they married in 1876 because their first child was born in 1878. (Relatives are wrong! They married in Christian Co., KY and I have a copy straight from the record book.) (I wonder if maybe Mary Bartee Hays didn't want her son to marry "that German girl" because they didn't marry until after she died----but Clara had 9 of their 12 children before Theodore married her!)
