Can anyone tell me anything about the John Dickson who was General Joseph's son? My John Dickson was in Franklin County NC in 1800 and in Gibson and Obion Counties in TN from about 1820-1836 where he died. Most of his children named a child William although none of them were named William. In book I of the cemetery records books, there is a Mrs. Lem Bruce in the Dickson Union Cemetery...says there is no marker but her obituary said 'died Jan. 1923, age 61 years'.
