    3. Faye, I am sorry if I miquoted, but your note really has me confused. The top part you state that Mattie Choate married William Brazell then at the bottom you state that you have no notes about Mattie.. Is is just you do not feel she was born in Dickson County ?? Lebanon and she went to McEwen to live with an aunt and uncle) and before 1910 census. Augusta (Peter's wife) married William James Brazzell (Mattie's husband) in 1912, Dickson Co. I get the feeling Peter and Mattie might have been closely related, can't find her in Dickson Co. 1880 census and no girl close to her age of 9 yrs. old. Have found a Peter age 28, in the household of James Choate, Sr., age 79, taken from 1880 index, so Peter could be James' son, or not. To me, Peter, b. 1851 and married Augusta in 1894, making him 43 yrs. old, back then that is too old to be a 1st marriage. What is your input on this subject..... I think I have notes on every Choate that ever lived in Dickson Co., but no Mattie. Faye Wilson Keele
