Mr. Billy, I really cant anawer your question exactly. All we have is my Husband`s (Thomas Jones,LOL)g-grandfather`s name and his siblings anmes and whom most of them married. The g+grandfather`s anme was Henry Allen/Alan Jones born about 1878 married Ida Vailes/Vails/Vales b. about 1878. They had several children some being: Jesse Thomas (G-greandfather), Earl, Lewis/Louis Thomas, Carrie, Hattie, and Alpha for a few of them. He died before Louis/Lewis was born in about 1913 in Slayden Tenn. There is another name that is supposed to be either his brother or uncle. That name is I.P.Jones. That is all we have for him is a name. They went to Ark., Al., Kentucky, etc working in stave mills. I understand that after his death most or all of the children were taken from Ida and placed into Orphanages. Some of the girls went to Carrol Co. And Married Bennett Brother(! Being Theodore). Does any of this sound familar at all. I am on a long shot and just hoping to find this line. Thanks for emailing. PAtsy
I am researching JOSEPH F. CLOUD who is listed on the 1820 Dickson County, Tennessee census. He is shown as the only person in the household, and is reported as being between 26-44 years of age. He married in 1826, and began having children in 1828, so he would have been listed alone, but he was born in 1803, so should have been about 17 years old in 1820.
